Some More Pictures of the Ohio Street, Racine, Wisconsin Road Construction, September 2008

My mom took these somewhere between

12 September 2008 and 15 September 2008.

I do not remember exactly which day,

but I uploaded them to the computer on 15 September 2008.

I do believe she is starting to get the hang of the camera. lol

Also, I think she is starting to enjoy using the camera

knowing that I can post the pictures online

and e-mail them to people.

The Chai Story--Dog Toy Horror--link included

My friend Lori sent me an e-mail with a link to this blog.

Chai is a beautiful dog who was playing with

wht turned out to be a poorly defined ball.

Chai ended up having his tongue amputated because of what happened.

To read Chai's complete story,

see the pictures of what happened,

to see videos of what he has had to endure,

and to read follow-ups of his progress

and the fight with the company about the balls

click on the link below.

No animal

should have to go through the pain

of what

Chai

went through.

Fair warning though

the pictures and the video

can be a little hard to look at,

but well worth it.

I actually cried when I read this blog.

Jason Statham in Transporter 3

Ok sometimes I swear I am more guy then girl when it comes to movies. I would rather watch a car chase or somebody blowing up something or a science fiction movie than more so called romantic comedies which are mostly just immature whiny adults. Give me the classic romantic comedies first. Although there a few modern romantic comedies and other romantic movies I actually like, but I still prefer my action movies.

Below is the link to one of the movie trailers for "Transporter 3" starring Jason Statham that is currently on You Tube. I admit I have watched the first two a few times. I also have quite a few of the actor's other movies. I still have not made up my mind if I like "Crank" or not. LOL I do find myself leaning towards movies he is in though because I usually enjoy them. I have a weakness for the "Transorter" movies though and have no idea why. ha ha ha

Congratulations to my friend

I just wanted to say congratulations to someone

I used to work with and now call friend

who found out she is having twins.

They are due in March.

Her and her husband are both happy

and I believe a little shocked.

I just wanted to put it out there

for the universe to send good wishes to them.

There has a been a lot of sad, bad, or scary things

happening to people in my life right (or people that I casually know)now

and I am just happy to hear great news.

Maybe just maybe this is a good omen.

Best wishes to my friend having the twins

and to my friends (both in person and online) and colleagues

who are going through hard times right now.

Even if I do not say it much

I do think about you and worry about you

a lot more often than I ever say.

You are all in my hearts.

Road Construction Ohio Street Racine, Wisconsin 26 July 2008

The east side of Ohio Street is getting closer to be done!!!

Yay!!!

The concrete was poured for part of the sidewalk and all the driveways yesterday.

They still have to pour the corners,

but soon our side of the street will be done

and then yeppers the other side will get torn up and done.

That side probably will not take as long since there are as many driveways.

I think there are only two in the way.

P.S.

My mother took all these pictures

since I was getting ready to go to work.

I believe she is actually starting to get the hang of it and enjoying it some.
