Road Construction Ohio Street Racine, Wisconsin 26 July 2008

The east side of Ohio Street is getting closer to be done!!!

Yay!!!

The concrete was poured for part of the sidewalk and all the driveways yesterday.

They still have to pour the corners,

but soon our side of the street will be done

and then yeppers the other side will get torn up and done.

That side probably will not take as long since there are as many driveways.

I think there are only two in the way.

P.S.

My mother took all these pictures

since I was getting ready to go to work.

I believe she is actually starting to get the hang of it and enjoying it some.

An Awesome Link!!!! allmyfaves.com

My sister-in-law sent me an e-mail with just this link.

I double dog dare you to click on it.

LOL

I clicked on the link and my response was holy &^%#.

There are literally dozens of icons to click on

to get to your favorite place

or to try someone new.

http://www.allmyfaves.com/

Ok, seriously I could not resist a double dog dare from "A Christmas Story".

I Added A New Coupon Link Box

I thought I would share

some of the

links for printable

and online coupons/codes

for everyone.

Off to the right side >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

there is a box

with a whole bunch of

links to various coupon sites.

If you have a favorite one

that you do not see

please let me know

and I will try

to add it to the list.

We all could use some help in the best of times,

but even if you are not

having a hard time financially

you might as well save money if you can.

It all adds up

to a lot of savings

over the course

of a year and lifetime.

My mother took these yesterday? or friday morning.

She has the ones printed out with the exact date.

This can not be good for the sidewalk we think??!!!

I want this over with!!!!

Ok enough whining.

We just have to remember how nice it will be when it is finally finished.

Yeondoo Jung--Wonderland 2005 on Very Short List

Not too long ago my friend Lori sent me a link

to a website called

Very Short List (VSL)

to look at and I ended up subscribing to it.

They have features on different subjects from around the world.

So far I have seen everything from books to art and so much more.

Some quirky, some serious, some just plain fun,

and some very creative

like the link below for

Yeondoo Jung in Korea.

Yeondoo Jung took drawings from children in South Korea

and created live art with them and then photographed them.

What a fun concept.

The pictures are fun to see and could possibly be something that

parents, teachers, or anybody looking to inspire children or themselves in art.

So check them out.

More Pictures From the Road Construction of 2008 Ohio Street

These pictures were taken Wednesday, 9 July 2008.

This is in front of our house and these were taken either from the sidewalk or front yard.

This was taken between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, 9 July 2008.

My mother took these this morning, Friday, 11 July 2008. Part of the street cracked last week when they were sawing. That part will have to be replaced.
